The new sensors are about a 3rd of the size of the old ones. My car is black so they blend in great.

I can't upload photos or I'd post one. PM if you want me to email a pic.

I took a pic of tach at start up ... blue and turn signals still work and are illuminated in green.

BTW, nothing was cut per my instructions so the 2 actually stick out a couple of mils. You can see the wireless remote velcro'd on the dash to the left. I did not put the optical sensor in the back because that would have added about $500.

eddieb4 it looks like you have the AL Priority setup, very nice! Its supposed to be the best laser defense system on the market.

I use the suction cups - I swap the V1 between the Porsche and daily driver Audi.

That's basically exactly what I did except I tapped into the glovebox light power source. But yeah the wire goes up the passenger A-pillar then tucked behind visor.

Just to be clear, mine is a k40 RL360i with the new smaller optical jammers that came out over the summer.
I had an escort 9500ci installed a couple of years ago and the automatic lockout feature burned me. That was the last ticket I received ... it was a rolling cop 1 block from my house and it locked out the signal. Last time I ever relied on that feature. K40 let's you lockout signals but you decide which ones. Quiet ride is nice because you can set it to mute at anything below a given speed. Mine is set at 25 MPH so it doesn't go off in parking lots etc. Only thing missing is speed camera and red light camera but waze helps there.
I have no affiliation just lots of experience with different detectors.

switched out the max 360 and had the escort 9500ci installed. Getting it over the weekend and pics to follow if requested. Challenge to get all the components in a 964.
