Here are photos of both my 1990 and 1991 cars. The 1990 has its original fenders. As far as I know, the 1991 does too. I've only had it 10 years so I can't be 100% certain. I bought the 1990 when it was 18 months old, so I'm fairly certain. I hope these help.

Rob, your pics are not displaying..
The spot welding on the 964 (and others back then) was not as 'measured' or 'precise' as some think. It is normal to find in the rear area spot welds not equispaced or neccesarily aligned even. Probably a sign of the hand-assembly of much of the car back then.
Now, if someone had bolted or riveted a new rear wing on (which I have seen) I'd be worried...
The spot welding on the 964 (and others back then) was not as 'measured' or 'precise' as some think. It is normal to find in the rear area spot welds not equispaced or neccesarily aligned even. Probably a sign of the hand-assembly of much of the car back then.
Now, if someone had bolted or riveted a new rear wing on (which I have seen) I'd be worried...
