Default Help finding engine compartment ground position + ANOTHER NEW CONNECTOR

Long story short I recently bought a car stored for 16 years after a colour change that did not finally happen, the only thing done to the car was to take the engine out and repaint the engine compartment in the other color. Now that I got the car, we replaced everything needed to start the car again, and started with no problems, then we took the engine out to repaint the engine compartment in the original color and while taking it out we found what appears to be a ground cable not attaches to anything.

Now that the engine is in the car again I'd like to attach this ground cable where it should go, can anyone please give some clue where it should go.

thanks in advance

Thanks, my car did not have the rear lid on, so that explains why the cable was not attached to anything

Could be wrong, but looks like the cruise control connector.

Thanks again for the prompt response.

I am pretty sure the connector was not connected to anything, and I had the engine running before removing everything, so I guess that if my car does not have cruise control then it should be just there lying around...
