Default Unusual factory wheels for 964

I have received these in the mail today. They are genuine parts, but are different than the std D90s.
Anyone seen these before?

Interesting. Did you get 2 or 4?

Wonder if they are the never seen before mag D90's?

Default 911 Carrera 4 Leichtbau wheel . . . . . .

Carried a slightly different part number but has the exact same width and offset. That part number was 964.362.116.01 and was reportedly made of magnesium alloy.

I have 911 Carrera 4 Leichtbau parts catalog in my possession and just verified the part number and sizing information given above.

I only have the 2 in 8" wide. Now to find the 6es...
They are NOT magnesium. They are dated 06.88.

The part number 964 362 116 01 is the number for the std 8X16 D90.

Sidenote: Long winded dispute about the so-called Mg D90 of the Leichtbau. I still believe they don't exist. No one could ever get his hands on one and document it.

The PET description is "Perforated disk wheel" and lists it as being superceded to 964.362.116.01. These were also used on the 944S2 so you you might have better luck digging through that part of the forum or in a TSB for that model?

I thought they were forged 944 Clubsports but they are missing the groove around the windows.

Silver Rose as installed on the 944 Turbo S and 944 Cup.

The rear Clubsports have the rounded transition from the spoke to the lip...

Good news. Picture of the wheels on what appears to be a factory image. And, now I know that 6" exist as well. I am almost done cleaning one, I will post better pics.

Seen these before, look nothing like a factory effort.

Now, the 64K question: Has anyone a lead on a pair of 6X16 of these early D90s?
