Default Porsche 964 C2 Radio Wiring.
Hi,
I will change the radio to PCCM.

I have a question the wiring.
I don't know the difference between thick red wiring and thin red wiring.

This is the wiring I checked.

1. Left side
Red(Thick)
Brown(Thick)
Red/Black(Thick)
Black(inner Green)

2. Right side
red
black
white
yellow
brown/yellow
brown/white
brown/black
brown/red


I don't know the function of each wiring.
I think the brown wiring is the speaker connection.
But I don't know the difference between the thick and thin lines above.

the thin red should have constant 12v to maintain radio settings Thick red one is switched main power to radio
the brown should be the ground

2. Right side wires are all speaker wires.
fronts: white and browns
rears: yellow and reds

the speaker connection to the cars harness are under the passenger seat the original amp if the car was equipped with one is also under the seat
