Default Which transmission?

Hi people i will probably get a tip 964 c2
… new to all the 911 scene, bit really reading a lot. and analyzing stuff here. i really want a manual but its really hard to get one over here and prices are even scarier. So my only option will be get the tip and do a conversion. But really dont know what you guys getting if where me.
Should i go 5 speed or 6 speed?
If the 5 speed it should be the g50-20?
If its the 6 speed any 993 right?

If you want a manual, BUY A MANUAL. It will cost you as much or even more to convert a Tip. JMHO

I converted mine (err... paid someone to do it) from tip to manual. Prices for the parts have since gone way up. If you want a stock setup, buy a manual car. If you want short gearing, sport clutch and lightweight flywheel, sport shifter and linkages, then it becomes worth it, IMO. I spent more on transmission swap than the car...
