Check engine light - O2 sensor
Hello,
I recently rebuilt my engine and purchased a new exhaust system. Since I run a mixture of 110/93 octane gas I didn't reinstall my O2 sensor. Now my check engine light turns on once the car is warmed up. When my shop checked the DME, it shows the O2 sensor at fault.
Has anyone figured out a way to bypass this code without reinstalling the sensor?
Thanks in advance.

Why aren't you running the sensor?
The car uses this for engine control

My car use to be a full time race car which I converted back to street. I still like to run mixture of 110/93 octane fuel. If I reinstall the O2 sensor, I think it will produce an error code as well.

How precise is this fuel mix? Other than additional detonation protection at the track I can't imagine mixing the higher octane actually does anything. Why not just run pump gas, install the sensor and have your engine management system perform correctly? I'd imagine it would actually run better
