The auction was a huge success. The LuftAUTO sold for $275,000 with the proceeds over $100k going to charity.

Fantastic event!!!!!

Beautiful event. Sorry I missed some of the legendary RL'ers there, but wife was not happy to be there with my little girls. Better than Disney I told her. Glad some $ went for good cause.

Literally every imaginable car there in one spot. Hell, you could have just looked at the cars in the lot and not even gone into the event. WOW!

Looks like a fantastic event. Was in LA only a few days ago. Had I known I would have stayed on to go to this. What a wide spread of cars. Just epic…….and those little 356's, got a real thing for a 356 right now.

Thanks for posting!

My favorite were the beat up 911s of R Gruppe. That's the way these cars should be driven. Love it.

Please, what's the story on the car with the horizontal cooling fan and all the random plumbing in the engine bay?

Thanks for the pics! Awesome weather, great crowd, and what else but the best collection of air cooled greatness all in one spot. Perfect Sunday morning. And as for that $8 bacon/egg/cheese scone biscuit thing, worth EVERY penny! LOL

Wow, that is some amazing metal. Thanks for sharing.

What's the story with the green 964? Is that a wrap? Respray? Original paint?

Owner said original paint from what my friend told me at the event.
