This, although I do think that the price trajectory will continue with time (nice 2.7 cars are fetching 6 figures?!) and that's a relatively uncommon 'feature' in automobiles. Not going to happen with a $75k Tesla. Ever.

Can a moderator or administrator please come through here and merge the two duplicative threads?

It's a very good $60,000 automobile.

Looks to be a nice car from a known dealer who tends to have some of the better cars.
Is it too expensive??? that's for you to decide. '94 C2 narrow body is unicorn, but same car as a '93.
Which is why so many are sold and shipped over seas. Ask holt motorsports where most of his cars go.

oh, I haven't noticed that. I used mobile app to create this post. When I found I made mistake with the "wide body". I deleted wide body text and repost the thread. Seems like it created another thread instead of updating the old one.

I tried to delete one, but failed. Sorry for creating two identical thread here.

Anyone with deleting right can help me delete one?

Both threads have taken off so deleting one is no longer an option. The forum software should have some type of "thread merge" functionality the moderators could use.

I successfully closed the other one. The CLOSE thread function only works on desktop.

The seller is a forum member and a good honest guy. Looking at the photos carefully leads me to believe the whole car has been painted. Now thats just my speculation from study of the pictures. The Pic of the door jamb sticker is particularly telling

Good eye I didn't pick up on that. Looks like a quality job but that answers some questions and I guess the answer the OP was asking is no. If it were all original paint than yes.

I usually hate to bring up old threads in forums, but I thought it would be worthwhile to update the group after purchasing this car a few weeks ago.

As someone else has stated in this thread (or the other one), it is a bit of a in between car. It has too many miles to sit in the garage and appreciate as a collector, but too few to drive regularly. This car will be driven, but on a limited basis. I'm targeting 2000 miles per year.

I have confirmed the paint is all original after taking it to a body shop where it was measured. There are a few rock chips on the front, but overall the paint is stunning. More impressive is the condition of the rubber throughout and the condition of the interior. This car was very well cared for.

The seats were a bit of a mystery until today I confirmed they are a factory Z order. There are 2 additional option codes on the trim tag ...
09991 - EXC-Optionen mit Abweichungen
10011 SITZE: KEDER DER VORDERSITZE IN LEDER *VF* #=LEDER AUS ANGEBOT #SIEHE EHEM. ZA 424
I can also see the seats have never been removed due to the paint on the seat bolts still line up with the rails. The hand brake is 2 tone like the seats. The leather shift boot is also the same color as the tops of the seat cushions.

I paid a pretty penny for the car, but I am very pleased with the purchase. I think I will go out to the garage and enjoy poring over more details with a beer.

Is "a pretty penny" more or less than the $75k asking price discussed by the thread starter? Looks like it relisted for $69k and didn't sell for that price either...

I'd hope it's less if you bought it a few weeks ago and the car hadn't been sold in the 4+ months that it was for sale... unless you bought it from whoever bought it when it was selling back in April...

Goat- congrats on your purchase! It looks to be a very nice example to drive and cherish. There aren't too many clean low mileage C2's left.
