Default Newbie Clock Lights Question

When key is in the run position, should all 9 lights around the clock light up? I am assuming since I have a manual c2, two should not light up at all.

Sorry if this has been talked about numerous times, I did a quick search and didn't see it.

Thanks for the help.

Until you actually start the car, yes, all your warning lights are gonna light up. Can't remember exactly which ones, but that confused me too when I first got my car.

Thanks, I just need to find out which ones before I start pulling the gauges out.

Someone must have a dash pic of a 964 c2 at startup.

Are any of them staying on after the car starts, other than the spoiler light?

Central warning light stays on along with brake light since parking brake is applied. Once parking brake is disengaged, central light goes out. After traveling maybe 50 yards central light comes on without any other warning lights. Spoiler light does not come on.

Thanks for the help.

Just to be clear, does the spoiler light come on initially? It should stay on until you reach about 5 mph and then goes out. If the spoiler light never comes on, you have an issue. Do you have a fixed wing or stock? For a fixed wing conversion, the warning circuit gets bridged, a common cause for "issues".

Yeah, the spoiler light will come on on start up and go off once you start moving. Is your car giving you warning dings once you start moving or anything?

And yes the parking brake and exclamation point are also on, until you release the brake. I'm surprised more people haven't chimed in on this.

No warning dings.

I tried searching but couldn't find anything related.

I finally got my car out of winter hibernation so I was able to verify your lights with what I see on my dashboard. As DobermanDad rightly points out, your spoiler light should be lit.

Is the spoiler functioning?

If it is, it's possible just the light it burned out. First thing I did when I got my car was replace all the old style bulbs with LED.

Yes, spoiler is fully functioning.

That's is what I'm going to do. I just want to make sure which ones should be on since all of the lights in my car don't come on at startup.

Thanks

No, seatbelt goes out once I lock in and airbag goes out with the rest of the lights.

Thanks
