Jerry Seinfeld's 1994 964 Turbo 3.6 S Flachbau sold on Saturday at the Amelia Island Gooding Auction for $1,017,500!!

Not your regular 964, or 964 turbo even...truly last of the hand built 911 factory cars!
Flatnose or slant nosed 911s always looked funny to me.

The original slant nose during the 930 era was alright but the one during the 964 era looked weird. When the lights are up its ok, but laid flat, the car just doesn't look right

As stated elsewhere, this is very much a Seinfeld phenomenon. Which is bizzare because long term, his name will be meaningless but in the short term his fans are in the age group that have the money to lay out that kind of cash.

There were others that sold for more. IIRC one with less miles sold for considerably more and there have been a few 3.8RS's. The flachbau is an acquired taste and looks better in person, although I would be in for the package turbo S myself. I prefer the 94 over the earlier slopes but not a huge fan of either. The tail used IMO was one of the best ever.

Numbers and condition will separate the best from the rest.
