I don't get why people try to place modern ideals on vintage autos? Considering what was available in the 60's through the 90's the 911 coupe was a statement that could not be matched and is still timeless.

One of the reasons that I chose a targa, rather than a coupe, was the sweep of the rear screen. It's a thing of beauty that I needed in my life.

I like both but I also like the rear wiper on these cars where most don't (Seems period correct to me). Oh, and yes I need to add a 964 to my garage!

love the targa (including the insane rear glass) but a coupe is just so much more practical here in chicago.

will trade a 70k mile c2 targa w/LSD plus cash for 964 or 993 coupe. pm me.

A disinterested person just pointed that out to me (my 9 year old) and said, why did someone photoshop that horrible thing onto a Porsche? I told her, it's no photoshop, that's how they come from the factory!

I was taken aback because I never looked at the rear window as it actually fits with there car. It's gross. The reason was because I was looking at the engineering marvel that is the Targa rear window. Gorgeously curved to fit the rear of the car. Genius.

Sorry to have to break it to you coupe guys. 9 year old's don't lie.

(Just kidding, not really but take it with a grain of salt if you get salty).

WOW.

One thing to point out your love for the Targa rear window but to then have to slam the coupe's glass as "junky looking slab of square glass that someone slapped on their last design spec at the last minute. It makes absolutely no sense on that gorgeous car. "

Pure class.

You are a fine example for all Targa owners to aspire to.
