Anyone interested in a Porsche 911SC?
Not sure if this is the right place on the forum, but a good friend of mine is selling his 1980 SC Coupe. It's Venetian Blue on blue leather with approximately 141k on stock motor. A real looker to me.
It's lowered and in good condition AFAIK. A potential buyer in town who owns a shop said it needs front brakes, tires all around and is lightly seeping from oil return tubes, but is in above average condition.
He plans to make an offer on it. We think he plans to flip it and not sure what he will offer. I'd love to see it go to a Rennlister rather than a flipper. If you think you would like a shot at it or more info, feel free to PM for more info.
$32.5K or best offer.

You're absolutely right! He's not on the boards, so I figured I'd help him out a little by posting here(only 964 board). I believe he's basing his asking price on the going market(Hagerty's). I've responded the best in my knowledge to what he's told me about the car and what I see. I am passing info to him as it comes along so that he can accept offers or inquiries.
He has not given me a figure, but I am guessing he is probably looking for low-to-mid $30's. He'd like to get into a newer 911 as he just recently retired. I have no idea what these cars are fetching, only that they too have gained value of late.
It's a very solid and nice driver, looks great and just needs a few things to tidy up.
Sorry not to be more informative.

Burning Brakes
I've seen my fair share of polished turds this year and a few I've missed on but nothing that I loose sleep over. Its been much harder than I thought it would be to find a 964 that meets my criteria... the search continues
