Default Aftermarket steering wheel hub adapter options?

I plan on running an aftermarket race steering wheel in my Porsche. However, I hate the way that the standard/common momo accordion adapter hub looks like. The hub just looks cheap and outdated. Sure, probably not a big deal to most, but a lot of things comes down to personal preferences.

Are there any other hub alternatives out there that I can look into?

Hub in reference, even though most probably already know what one looks like:

The momo hub is designed to collapse in case of impact, just something to keep in mind.

Thanks for the link.

I also had someone on pelican direct me to this item, which may be a good alternative to retaining the safety of the collapsable steering wheel hub but getting rid of the accordion cover.

Don't waste your money with those. I bought one. Won't even fit on the splines. Also came scratched. They're made in China.

Buy the Momo unit and make your own boot:

Not a bad idea. Did you just wrap it in some kind of vinyl material?

Have a look at my link above the photo. There's a short write up on what I did. But long story short, it's a thick bristol board wrapped in leather.

Thanks!
