Thanks

There are a few other things to do on the interior like the dash and shifter but it's almost complete.

@klokwerk, I like your carpet work. Is that black and is that the lightweight RS felt?

Thanks

Thanks! It is the RS carpet from Appbiz. Color of the carpet is charcoal.

I’m completely blown away by the interiors in this thread. The color choices, materials and overall execution is nothing short of amazing and certainly makes the interior a better place.

My Targa has a very nice original interior which I likely won’t mess with but now I’m itching to find a 964 that needs a complete rebuild so I can make it my own. These cars are like heroin, once you get a taste you want MORE!

Looking forward to seeing what others come up with.

Here is mine. 997/987 seats, 996 shift ****, RS America center console bin (no need for rear wing switch because I have an RS America wing), Tequipment e-brake handle, NH Speedo white-face gauges with aluminum rings, aluminum pedals, CF dash kit, aluminum key binnacle.

Has anyone ever put 993 door panels in their 964?

More is hard on the wallet! I've just finished my complete interior rebuild.

My interior goes under the knife this weekend for a full cashmere to black conversion. I've been ordering everything over the last couple months and we're finally ready to get it done.

^^ Will do... buddy who does this full time is coming over Sunday so I'll document as much as I can. He quoted me $250 for the conversion (friend price obviously) and I laughed and said "dude, let's talk money when you're all done, because I think you're going to feel pretty slighted with $250" . I've read how much fun it is to get all the glue out and all that. I did get new soundproofing material as well so we'll see how it all goes.

Now that I'm seeing this thread, I might talk to him about taking my old cashmere seats/rear shelf and RS door panels with him to do some fancy diamond stitching. Some of you guys have taken this to the next level! Love it!!
