Brembo caliper rebuild kit info
Are all rebuild kits created equal? Or is one set of seals better than another? Who are the chosen suppliers?
I'm not replacing Pistons as far as I know. Just seals...
Thoughts?

In another thread Steve Weiner said that in his experience only Brembo parts hold up, and according to the research I did recently the only place to get those parts is in the factory rebuild kits with the pistons (at about $32/hole.... x16.... ouch.)
The calipers off my 90 are currently apart for rebuild; I had the spring plate lifting syndrome pretty bad and decided to redo the powder coat. When I got them all apart all the rubber parts were in remarkably good condition; good enough that I wished I hadn't messed with it to be honest. I nutted up for factory/Brembo parts. To facilitate powder coating, I also bought one set of Centric rebuild bits from RockAuto. The seals didn't seem much different (hard to tell, visually) but the dust boots seemed less robust than the factory parts.

I rebuilt all 4 calipers with Stop Tech seals and boots. Perfect fit. Got them from Zeckhausen.com.
You can get 2 seals and boots for $35, or individual items for $10.
