Default New to me '89 964 Woot!

It's been a long time coming and I finally have my own 911!
Here she is, a 1989 Linen Grey with grey interior.

Had its motor rebuilt 3k miles ago but there are plenty of cosmetic issues that will keep me busy for a long time.

I've been on this site for several years, lurking, infrequently posting but always learning. This community is the most knowledgable and helpful group of people and I can't wait to get involved now that I'm a full fledge Porsche owner!

Build sheet has some nice options that I wish were still on the car. Like the heated seats! How do I get those hooked back up?

Thanks and Hello!

Congrats! I bought my 90 C4 7 months ago and have enjoyed it a lot. Totally understand what you mean by cosmetic issues lol. They're fun cats tho and this community is great!

Gongrats and great choice. You'll love the stability and superior handling with the C4. Also, a rare color and rare to have that many options listed.

There are some threads for heated seats fix. Here's a thread that might get you started https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...t-working.html

Exactly. Once you own one, interacting with this community becomes much more important.

That is probably the one option you don't need in a 964, man the heater system really works in these cars! LOL
Just kidding, I do love them in other cars though.
Welcome!

I got my 964 in the fall too. I remember driving it up from Indiana to Michigan where I live. I was grinning the entire time!

I've never driven a car that drives like a 964.

This is quite true. Here's a picture of the heating system, Seat Heater and the stereo. Multipurpose!
