The 993RS uprights really work. It was a lot of money to get everything right but it really improves the car on track. Please note that you also need the 993 version of the side members (holding the control arms). And if you're planning to keep your control arms you have to replace the pressed-in bolt holding the upright. The 993 version is 2 mm thicker. I don't see those parts in your boxes, so this is just a heads up!

^^^^ yep the 993 ball joint part and the pressed in stud are all there! Joey has done these before so he knows all the small parts needed to make it proper.

I love your project, I am on a similar path with my '94 C2. I am using Brembo Motorsport calipers and PSS10's. Have also gone to the Evo uprights and motorsport control arms, and switched to the RSA manual rack. The engine was rebuilt to stock specs with the elimination of the power steering pump and TI retainers and motorsport valve springs. The exhaust is Fabspeed headers with heat and sport cats. Interior has been lightened with rear seat delete, lightweight carpet, RS doorcards, airbag delete and non-airbag dash, Porsche MOMO Mod 07 wheel. Wheels are 17" Zuffenhaus Fuchs finished by Harvey Weidman.
There are a few exterior touches just to make it mine.

Wheels are 17" Zuffenhaus Fuchs finished by Harvey Weidman. There are a few exterior touches just to make it mine. The change which could be of interest to yo is the gearbox. I think this is one overlooked area which can yield the most visceral return. I did a 3.89 R&P in my .1GT3 and what a change. I wanted to source a G50-31 from a 993RS but alas Porsche had no more on the shelf. We found a 1995 993 G50-21 as a donor and built a box similar to the G50-31.

We need to talk about this next time I see you. Interested in your going to the power steering delete. I've thought about this and wondering how manageable it is in town, though it sounds like it might be a little more time before you can say what your experience is on that.

Very nice. The brembo race kit for these cars is about the same price as the gt kit. Other than the Pistons I'll have to ask the difference. Normally the race kit is 2x the gt kit price.

Coming along nicely although I still think your going overkill on the brakes. My 993RS brakes are more than I will ever need especially if you drop weight.
Just received my Rothsport shifter for my C2. Can't wait to get it installed.
I love a clean car looks great so far. I also agree with the tranny change over to a G50/30 is nice but a bit short for top speed gearing.

My pile of rothsport parts are arriving today and tomorrow, likewise on the shifter.
Car dropped off with Joey this morning. Work starts later today or tomorrow with a break for the holidays. He's going to take a bunch of pics of the process and I'll share here.

Nice build spyerx. I like the direction your taking with the car, will be a rather fun and enhanced 964 when complete. Then again are these porsche projects ever really complete, who knows right.
What size and offsets did you go with for the e88s?

E88 are a pretty aggressive fitment. BBS will give you a couple different options for narrow body 964.
I got: 18x8.5 +48 and 18x10 +43
Tires are 235/40Z18*/ 275/35Z18

I tried 18x10ET46 with 265's and it just rubbed on my car with rolled fenders -1.2 camber and lowered to 10mm above RS spec using RS suspension. But apparently others have fit ET40 without rubbing apparently. Tires can make a difference depending on shoulder shape.
