That thread is all about the 964 pedal box.
I have a 993 pedal box. My 964 box doesn't hang and it's not an issue. I need to figure out how to resolve the 993 box hanging, without changing to the latest kinematic lever as Porsche basically rotated the kinematic lever on clutch shaft such that the clutch sits farther back.

Yeah could be. I only bled the calipers. They are good now and after a bit of bedding feel great. But when the weather gets a bit warmer I'll do my spring fluid flush and bleed everything fully. It's interesting though, after years of Porsche redesigning the kinematic level four times...that it really seems to be more related to line pressure and less to the lever

Unless you plan to replace the kinematic lever, you will be much better off just refurbishing your existing 964 pedal assembly. It will feel just as good! Otherwise no matter what do you, it will eventually start hanging in the most inopportune of times.

There is a massive difference in feel, btw, with the 993 box. So I'm keeping it. I like it a lot. The clutch hanging thing is just wierd. And figuring that out would help in my case and surely others as well. I have the latest most u to date kinematic lever, but I took it back out till I can figure out why the pedal sits so far back with it.

Big day today. We all got together at someone else's garage for the first time in a while...
there was a house call going on in the garage on the targa, and so we worked outside to get mikes interior put in for the lobster rocket, which is finally aligned and ready to have the sills out back on and the windshield replaced...and to be driven...thank god...
And Dave came sporting his new badge of honor for doing the bulk of his own service...

Would be interesting to try the 993 box one of these days when we get together. It really looks like you guys have a 964 gang there. Usually never see another 964 around, so its pretty cool to see a group together that often.

Two more badges were installed today. Happy owners.
And up she went, the Spotted Owl on her perch. We put mikes sills on as well, and are finishing buttoning up the lobster rocket.
The Spotted Owl, so far, I am very happy with. Not one bolt or nut have me any issue, none. Everything came out super easy. Aside from being dirty, it's a very very clean car. All the cosmoline is still in place and there is little to no corrosion of any kind anywhere, like it never saw rain in its life. Plus, the front wheel bearings feel brand new, which was unexpected. So they aren't getting changed. Save that for the future. We were going to switch this C2 to C4 inner tie rods, but that's been done as well, and the ones that are in there are fine. They have to come out however since we need to change the steering stops to the 10mm stops. The Spotted Owl wasn't happy on d90 and is getting a set of 18" BBS RS-GT. She's going to be pretty. And as always, more or less completely new.
Tomorrow we continue teardown and begin inspecting and cleaning...more to come.
