So i love my 89 964 C4. The car drives really well. Engine is strong. Coilovers are planted.

But, the steering radius sucks. On smaller two lane streets I cant make a u-turn without doing a 3 pt turn. It has the steering radius of a bus.

Is this normal? What you guys done to help with this problem.

Yes, it's normal. Depending on the model year of your car and whether it was equipped with OE 17" wheels it might have thicker steering stops that reduce steering angle. You can put the thinner stops in, but you won't gain much steering angle since the tire hitting the rear of the wheelwell will limit steering angle instead of the stops inside the rack.

Only car I had with a worse turning radius was my Volvo V70R - turning radius of an aircraft carrier...

on tight hairpins I hit the lock stops quite often so yes normal
