Where might this attach ? Had removed bumpers ....

That looks like the battery vent hose.

Does it attach somewhere ? Or just tuck down a side of battery?

if you have a vented battery attach it to the battery. If you have a sealed battery, remove the hose.

Yes, this is part of the genuine Porsche AC ballast resistor and fan dissolver system. Carefully designed to direct corrosive fumes onto expensive parts in your front fender!

Best bet is to keep your non-vented battery and either tuck the hose down the side of the battery or remove it completely.
