im not sure you are aware that the dates for SPA this year fall over the easter bank holiday weekend, which might make it difficult for those with families.
Best double check before you commit.

I've just been looking at Eurotunnel prices....
if the plan is to go en-mass on say the Friday 25th March 2016 it's between £61 and £63 for short stay (max 5 days).....I'm thinking of coming back on the Tuesday but Sunday is £59-£65 (though you'd probably only make the late trains unless you left early) and Monday 28th March 2016 is £59-£63).....
Thoughts?

This sounds interesting :-) Will keep my eye on it.
Though i must say that price does seem to have Porsche tax on it - I went last year in my Elise with our Lotus on Track boys and it was £245 in June!!
Edit - Just looked and the Lotus lot are £199 for the 21st March in 2016....

one question guys:
is there something like an officical announcement? I need this for my insurance (the german insurances covers usually those events :-)) to get a confirmation from them.
regards.
btw.: even better. A day before is carfriday on "the ring".

Thilo, what do you mean by official announcement?

A kind of official announcement form the track-day organizer that describes the character of the event. Something like the date, the type of cars that are allowed, tyre-regulation, helmet-duty and such stuff. Here in germany, those documents are typical one site in PDF.
For insurance purpose, there is a sentence with a content like "the event is no racing event. Only for improving driving skills. No official timekeeping". The last point is the most important for the german insurer.
Driving at that type of event, the insurance is committed to cover the risk :-)

I think the best idea is to contact Jonny at Bookatrack (he is the owner and main organiser) and is very helpful
jonny.leroux@bookatrack.com
http://www.bookatrack.com/event-calendar
I've checked on their website but cant find anything like that. the joining instructions will have some of those details on but they don't usually get sent out until a week or so before the event

Good morning All,
Please count me in. I am booked for the Sunday session.
Should a convoy be organised from Eurotunnel on the Friday, please let me know, I will join in.

Bad news:
did a service during the hibernation at my mums place over the christmas days. After the service i had to rank the car, but the clutch is gone. It was fine, when i drove the car to hibernation in november but now, the 20tKM (3 or 4 years ago, everthings gets renewd) old clutch is ratteling/rubbing/plucking and is it not possible to start the car and move away "smoothly".
When my car is back on the road (early march) i`ve to put it to my mechanic....
It`s quite unlikely, that i could keep the scheduled easter event...
But i`ve managed to order a set of new michelin cup2 for my 17-inch wheels for the 2016 trackday season, one day before i realized the clutch problem :-(
