Hello mates! Its only been about two months since I joined the ranks of 964 ownership, but I couldn't be any happier with the car. So much so that I would like to start a W9O Florida chapter. I emailed Frank (black betty) and he loves the idea. Pretty basic; we need to set up meet, go for a cruise take a bunch of pictures and we have chapter. From there we can have monthly meets, some charity component and at the very least a bunch of cool cars we can all chat about. So who's interested? If I can get enough people I'll start the process asap. Lets do this! Thanks and I look forward to meeting as many as you as possible very soon.

Fantastic! That makes a total of 7 so far with k9doogs friends. I'm sure by contacting some of our local shops that work on these cars we could get a a lot more. Let's give it through the weekend and then If everyone can pm me their email addresses I will send a group email and get the ball rolling. Facebook is where W9O is most active. I believe we can post on their site or create our own. I only have Facebook for my businesses but someone else does it for me; I have no clue how to use it. Hopefully someone in the group can take of that. Looking good so far.

Sorry didn't notice the other part of your message. I live and work in hollywood. All Florida 964s are welcome but I'd like to keep most of the meets in dade, broward or palm beach counties. But I'm sure we'll drive the whole state at point or another and meet up with other 964 owners along the way. Jupiter is around the corner from here. Hopefully you'll join us!

Yea I'm definitely up for some driving. I'm actually working on my 964 now trying to get it prepped for the PCA Sebring track event September 19-20. Anyone else planning to attend?

Looks like there is plenty of interest here so may as well get started. Everyone interested please email me to alon@hurt123.com. If you can include your full name, telephone number and city you live in so we can have our first meet and drive at a mutually convenient location. I will also send each of you pdf from Frank giving details about the club. Once we nail down the date of our first meet we can start spreading the word and get a nice group of cars together. After our first meet I will submit an article about it with lots of pictures to frank who will the formalize our SF9O chapter!

Gentlemen I was never a frat gay, or active in school clubs and the closest thing I have to belonging to any club is the gym so I hope I'm up for the task: I'll do my best.

I am one of them, loud white 964, used mostly for track days as I haven't yet found any real driving roads since I moved to South Florida 2 years ago. Doing a DE at Homestead this Sunday morning if anybody is around? :-)
