What's this?

Tracked down a short to a little black box (approx 100mm square) with circuitry shown in pic and connected to harness shown in pic. No markings or part numbers so am guessing Oem alarm?
Anyone have any other thoughts or know what should be connected here?

Wow, that's a lot of connectors! Maybe a PO had a lot of Hifi stuff in the front?
