STOLEN 964 Speedster, white - Be On the Lookout VIN: WP0CB2967RS465371
My neighbor's white w/ black 964 Speedster was stolen out of his garage Monday night / early Tuesday morning in the San Diego area.
Please if you see any signs of a 964 Speedster or parts for sale that sounds too good to be true reply to this thread or PM me.
Owner will be able to identify the car based on some subtle mods made (not listing them here in case scumbag thieves can read).
VIN: WP0CB2967RS465371
There aren't many of these for sale ever - please help if you see something.
Sad that my first post to this forum is on this topic!
Thanks in advance for any help.

Terrible... Lots of stolen air-cooled cars in SoCal. Might want to change the O to a 0 in your thread because that's the proper identification of the car.

Here is an article with a photo. It's beautiful :'( Sad day. Not sure why they say how much it is to rent a similar car per day, but I'm pretty sure their pricing was wrong there too...

So sorry to see this. Hope for the best that it's found in one piece. Sad part is its probably already being stripped, the scum that steals these things butchers them and sell them off by the pound back to the same community that reveres these cars so much.
Look for parts on pelican and Craigslist, they take their time, I just saw the wheels off my car for sale on Craigslist over two years after it was stolen. Still makes my blood boil...
Hope the outcome is different.
