Default Lighter Socket as Power Source

My plugins won't stay plugged in. Is the lighter socket of my 90 C4 differently sized than recent cars?

Try use these, the short ones don't fall out ... works perfect on my car. Most of your power needs (phone and GPS are 1 amps to 2 amps anyway) can use these little things.

you can get an adapter that goes in the socket that makes it standard. They sell them on line and a some car stereo places.
