Totally agree with the airbag situation!
No excuse not to swap the standard wheel out for a nice after market version.

Also, all C4 964s have 4 pot rear calipers and better mc/pv
Ready for that "Big Red" upgrade you know you'll want

Note that with a 1989 you will pay taxes on the appraised value at the SAAQ. 25 years and less you can declare 1$.

But being able to change steering wheel is a big plus IMO. I would really like to change mine.

Why don't you?!
I doubt any cop would know it was supposed to have an airbag...

If you pass on this 964, please let me know why and then where I might be able to see it!

Good luck, hope it all works out.

Absolutely I'd love to see yours!
And I agree I almost never see 964's.
I see 993's or 3.2's..

If you buy it I will send you a M90 sticker Is this the car that was on Kijiji for a day?

Please hook up EDoyle if you don't buy it....he's been looking for a while.

BeachBoy, where are you on the South Shore?

There are so few 9-64s in Montreal we need to start a group or something....what do you guys think?

We should meet yes. Maybe at the next Lamborghini cars and coffee (not this F1 weekend but the next?)

I have met edoyle last year with his 993, I also know of two other red 993s (one has Ruf goodies) but I don't know anyone else with a 964.

I haven't seen this 89 on kijiji which is weird because I get alerts as soon as something shows up on kijiji.

I was in Brossard now I'm near Delson/Candiac/etc.

So the car was on kijiji in the fall last year. I went to see it and decided then not to make a move and wait for the spring and start my search again.
I always jumped on a 88 Targa 2 weeks ago. Drove all the way down to Coburn Ontario about 150km before Toronto. Drove in and out , checked the car , left a deposit and the car and was buying it.
Following day someone came along and offered to pay him 2000$ so he emailed transferred me back my deposit , told me he got offered more money and never answered my calls anymore.
I then remembered about this 964 so emailed the guy back since he had told me in the fall that he was storing it and would entertain selling it again in the spring/summer.
So he emailed me back and told me he would sell it but for 5000$ more then what he wanted in the fall. lol
Anyways what i really wanted was a 964..
So i'm checking it out today. If it pans out i'm grabbing it.
I'll keep the thread updated.
