Default factory CD-2...how to get the code

I have a '93 3.6 Turbo that came with the optional CD-2 in-dash CD player.

I want to return the car to 100% stock, as the former owner installed another radio unit.

The guys at my local Porsche dealership told me that there is no way to get the code for the radio. But I can´t believe this.

Thanks.

I think I answered your post over on Pelican, here is the site I used to recover the code for my CDR-220. All I had to do, was enter "Becker radio code" in Google.

The CD2 was made by Alpine. I just bought one and the seller was able to contact Alpine to get the code.
