dual exhaust?

I just bought the FVD Brombacher exhaust system. Search under YouTube to hear the sound of the exhaust. I had a hard time spending $5K but after seeing Larry Ammo's engine rebuild I was hooked.

For SANE $$$, great sound, less weight and similar horsepower results, it's hard to beat: a cat bypass with a primary muffler bypass. The gold standard.
$200-300 for a cat bypass
$200 for a primary bypass
Make sure your airbox is drilled too.
With that set up, you're not part of a "product development" team, and there's no drone, bumper mods or heat problems....

Some tracks have noise regulation and I really don't wanna get caught :-)
Thanks

Sorry OP, just saw that I missed the "dual" part in your post.... sorry about that. Carry on.
I don't know the db, but it should comfortably pass. It's an aggressive sound, but in no way obnoxious or tiring...
A cat bypass, with a secondary exhaust bypass (also another great sound) is a notch louder and I have read a couple posts of people switching to a primary bypass to reduce db a bit.

I'm on a Dansk dual, 100 cell cat, custom inlet and filter, with no secondary.
old school at low revs, more of a snarl when at high revs and coming off the throttle.

I have a 93 oct. Steve Wong chip, so my system eventually grew into this current setting:
I installed a primary bypass = 15+ lb. weight savimgs and great sound.
I bought a 93 Steve Wong chip = Car idled perfectly and had had more urge sub 4,000. Soild idle!!!
Installed a Fabspeed cat bypass = more weight savings, awesome mechanical sound, less heat, +++ throttle response. Only a little more noise, but it's so good everyone around the car smiles (and coughs a bit too =)

i`ve this exhaust (with cat and a little bit of heat) from a german supplier - exclusively made for my mechanic - and it is great. Great sound, great power (with other mods).
friends of mine have the M&M (brombacher/fvd) system on their cars (single and dual outlet) and it is louder but not better :-)
I would go for a good, full header system....

Based on the diagram of a stock exhaust I can see what you are talking about.
So bypass the cat, and bypass the final muffler leaving only the intermediate muffler stock.
Any issues with deleteing the cat? Error codes?
(I have Fister II on my 993 and it sounds they way the factory should have made it. I would like the same type of subtle sound for the 964.
So should i delete cat or custom cell cat? For the two mufflers, should i delete any of them or replace them with custom?)

The bypass Udo mentioned is to replace #6 & #8 in your pic. No issues with a cat bypass except for reported foul exhaust smell by some folks.

Sport cat is much more livable for a street car than cat delete. Otherwise, you'll be breathing unburned hydrocarbons at every stoplight (think about how it smells to drive behind an old beater taxicab belching blue smoke). You'll also smell of fuel/exhaust after even the shortest drive. It's particularly obnoxious if you have a cab or targa. You can also forget about the significant other joining you for rides or allowing you to bring the kids.
