Wimbledon Green 1994 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 with only 8K miles

I am curious to see what this will sell for with the current incredible market of these cars. Anyone want to take a guess??

From the article:
"Rare Wimbledon Green over Black Leather Sport Seats," writes the seller. "Only 8k Miles. Flawless Pedigree, 100% Original. RS America Rear Spoiler was ordered on car new, have second flat deck lid still wrapped in plastic and boxed from Porsche. All Books, Records, Keys, Tools, Pumps, etc etc Included. None Finer Available. Car is a 10, still smells new."

This car belongs to a friend of mine, who is also a dealer in LA, he paid well over $100k for the car 6 months ago.

He might as well drive it. I don't see him pulling a profitable sale anytime soon.

At a collector car auction, rather than Ebay, it would probably make $130-140K

1994 with 8,000 miles? My guess would be $125k. Pretty rare bird suitable for a collector with deep pockets.

If he keeps a while longer price is going up anyway.

That's what I mean. Even if he puts a little more miles on it to exercise it, he'll get more in a few years and get to enjoy the car. If he paid well over 100k for it. I don't see him pulling a big profit selling now. But he might just be testing the waters with a high reserve and will keep it until it goes up enough to let go.
Granted he doesn't wreck it. That's tge problem having a car like that just for a collection or investment. They are afraid to drive them

In the last few years these cars prices have skyrocketed and it seems like it is not stopping.

I say drive it, maintain it and enjoy it, and if prices go up high enough for you to get back what you've put into it, you win!
