Caught the bugs of Targa
Hi gents,
i intentionally post this here instead of the classified section because here we have more ''owner'' reading.
i'm looking for a 964 Targa, or late G50 930 Targa. willing to trade for coupe if it needs to be. car must be clean & in great shape. i prefer mileage lower than 70k so i can put some miles on it before it passes the 100k mark. not that it's a big issue but rather looking for lower mileage car if i could since it's gonna be a keeper. open to color selection. please send me PM or email if u know any lead.
TIA!

I like Targas as well. But one but of advice..don't worry about mileage with these cars. Especially if you are going to keep and drive it. Very often you'll find a car with 100+ miles that is much much better than cars with -60
Look for maintenance records, rebuilds, parts replaced, and always leak the motor down in a thorough ppi before buying. No matter what you buy, you'll spend 10k after you buy it to sort in out in the first few years...don't buy something over 30k and get stuck with 20-30k in sort out costs...

964 Targas are getting rare ...and appreciating fast. If you find an nice unmolested body go for it . these engine are durable and usually get a rebuild which is no big deal.
Good luck
