FVD front splitter install
Just got my FVD front splitters. They look great. Anyone ever installed these? Trying to find some info to make sure I do it right. They came with rivets (I may replace these with screws) and glue. Any info would be much appreciated.

If it were me. I would tape them on to make sure they are exactly where you want them. Mark them off from under the car in case they want to move. I would take the lower plastic valence off the car and then decide if you are going to use rivets or screws, washers and lock nuts..
When I installed my renspeed splitter. I used long screws and was able to use existing holes, no lower valance removal.
I think I will order the splitter and ducts FVD with a few other bits needed for my cab.....

Stainless is my fav. I was actually planning on stainless.
Good info guys. Doesn't sound like difficult job at all.
Anyone know what the glues for? Just to really make sure they stay put?

Just documenting for a 964T owner who was interested in seeing the splitter installed. I used JB plastic weld to fill in seam around the splitter, then painted. XPEL over the front top edge after these pics were taken.
Came out just "ok". not great,... but it was more for "feel" than looks. Can't see it down on the underside anyway.
This was a second set of lower valances (left & right) on which I installed the FVD splitters,... so I could keep my originals on the shelf.

Kris- I've done quite a few of these. If you hit any snags, give me a shout. Happy to walk you through it. The glue - you use a bead across the front. And i changed mine from rivers to screws as well.

Exactly what I did too. Works great, easy to take off and put back on if you need to have the front bumper off the car. Totally recommend this. Cost about $10 in hardware from Lowes.

The rivets just secure it to the under tray no need for screws. The factory riveted them to the under trays as well. Easy job and cult werks makes a very nice product.
