New targa in the stable
Late least year I got a called from a friend of mine telling me that a guy he knows had just lost he's dad he also told me that the dad had left he's friend a 1990 c4 targa with 37k miles , he told me that he wanted to sell it to someone that was going to appreciate the car and take care of the car like he's dad did , he said he's not a car guy and he really hated to let the car sit in the garage with no one driving it , he also told me the car was triple black with black interior and it was 100% stock , the dad had won 12 concourse contest with this car , he proved to tell me that when the dad bought this targa he flew to Germany to ordered it how he wanted it , the dad never removed the targa top since new , never , I drove 180 miles to were this car was stored I met the son and we talked a little bit and than he said , let's go see the car he opened the garage and there was this 964 covered with a nice car cover , next thing he did was uncovered it and there she was!! I fell in love instantly , we cranked the car and it fired up right away 15 minutes later the car was mine here's some pictures and a picture of the option in a frame with 4 pictures of the car and a metal the car won.

Yellow front fogs, rear fogs, headlights level adjustment but no side turn signals on the front fenders. Where is this car originaly from? Does the vin starts with WP0ZZZ?

This car was in California for the first 2 year of its life and than texas since new , it's a 1 owner car and special ordered by PO, vin # does not start with WPOZZZ, also according to the son he told me the car have never been driven in the rain , brought it home and put it on jackstads and look at what I saw this is the cleanest car I have ever purchased

Wonderful find (yet again) and great background story. Sounds like a fun purchase experience.
