Apologies, I meant to ask what was the primary diameter (so the smaller dia pipes that connect to the head)? preferably the internal pipe diameter.

No worries if it's too late and already on the car. We can forgive you, but only if you post a sound clip of it running

2.5" piping after the merge collector is perfectly ok

Here is a graph of what headers with long primaries like those pictured will do to the torque curve of an M64 engine with stock cams. The long tube headers are the red curve, stock 993 heat exchangers are the green.

This system is a full race with headers and muffler, as well as heat exchanger. All I can say right now is that it's very well put together.

Here
did you get this through saruga performance?

Yes!
I went through those guys. They're very helpful. I talked to Mathieu, he was very quick on getting back to me even though our time zone was 12hrs different.
I'm installing it this weekend.

Cool. I knew those photos looked familiar. I am also dealing with Mathieu, but nothing Porsche related, it's for my Datsun 240Z. Great looking exhaust, I also prefer Japanese products. If you have time check out Arqray, they have a great muffler for the 964 as well.

Default installed

So I installed the exhaust system on to the car over the weekend. Everything fit like a glove, and I mean like a tight glove. It's on there very nice and tight...no wiggling whatsoever. Again, the piping work is a beauty to look at when they're on the car. Took the car for a few spins over for a few hours, and I have to say it's a huge improve from what I had before. I had Fabspeed cat bypass along with a primary bypass. The sound is on the higher note than before and at WOT, it's just amazing. I also updated to a new Steve Wong chip to accommodate the header. Gain or not, I definitely feel there's more pulling from bottom all the way to redline. Anyways, here are a few pics and videos.

Thanks guys. Another important note is that there's absolutely no droning.

Sorry to say so but the sound is absolutely obnoxious.
I couldn't even determine it to be from a Porsche.
Did you check for leaks?

Hehe...the camera audio does not do its justice. No...I'm pretty sure there are no leaks. The sound is not for everyone. Definitely not for you if you think it's obnoxious

As for the heat goes, there's warm air pumping out. Just not super hot. So I wouldn't do this mod if you live in Alaska.

Although the sound is not for me, its a beautiful system and great that it fits really well.
