Oil Reading from Sensor and Dip Stick

Oil Reading from Sensor and Dip Stick
So I've added a bit of oil after looking at the dip stick and it looked low and my sensor looked to read low at the bottom of the meter. The oil gauge would show low, then drop to the bottom when under load.
The dip stick is always tough to read, one side is pretty dry and I use the other side to get a reading. I refilled oil (1/4 of a quart at most, likely less) and stopped when the oil hit the top marker on the stick.
The gauge sensor now is in the middle position of the gauge, but drops when under load or even revving the engine. Is this normal? I'm staying with the amount of oil since the dipstick reads filled, just curious on the activity of the oil gauge.
Here is a video of the gauge activity.
Thanks!

In addition to the engine being at idle speed, the engine should also be at normal operating temperature. Otherwise, You will get a lower than actual oil level reading on both the gauge and the dipstick. Sent from my iPhone using Rennlist

You are OK, but I would NOT add any more oil than what's in there now. While driving the oil level gauge should always be in the red zone.
