'At some point in 2011 a small group of London 964 Owners got together for cars & coffee. Years later there are now over 70 and from all over Europe.

The L9O as it's become to be known isn't a car club. It's an 'organisation' that operates on the fringes of 'Porsche Society'. No fees, no vetting, no comitees, no purists, no hierarchy, no rules - 964 Outlaws.

At it's heart it's a drivers group that belongs to it's participants. So you'll find them always on the move, whether it be at Monthly Drive & Lunches, at Track Days all over the UK, Alpine Tours or even Go Karting. They like speed.

As you'll see from the gallery section, the L9O cars are mostly track focused. Most of their 964s are modified with performance intent - wider tyres, suspension, engine work etc.

With a focus on thrashing 911s their moto is - GO CARS, NOT SHOW CARS.

So how do you sign up? Well all you have to do is come along to an event and you're in - even if you don't own a 964, yet.'

Very nice website. Even better if the 28 picture gallery included at least one cab.

Oh there are over 100 pics (I guess) in the 'gallery' section of the website! Sadly no cabs in the group. Back in 2011 we had a regular who drove a cab, but he hasn't dropped by in ages

Checked out the website again and found a baltic blue cab in the video section "Porsche 964 - May '11 Run". Must have been the regular you mentioned.

I know they're go cars, but for regular drivers the L90 group also has great looking cars.

Good spot! That was a gorgeous car. It belonged to a guy named Darren who was also a Rennlister.

As much as most the cars are track orientated, there are quite a few original ones too. Everyone mucks in, there are no rules in any regard!

A point which you might want to highlight in the openning post so as to make it more welcoming to fresh meat like moi who you can duly convert to trackies in due course.

Wonderful pictures Frank! Liked

Nice get together at the Duke of Wellington! The different colors and the individual modifications make each car so fun to look at. Meeting up with you guys on a fun run is definitely on my bucket list!

Awesome pics of some awesome cars! Thanks for sharing Frank. I wish there was a SoCal964 owners group to have some get togethers and meets! That would be fun to go on drives as you all do. That's great for you guys to do that!

+1 on the awesome cars and great variety of colours. Also, wish there was a BC 964 club here. I guess in the UK there's just a lot more 964's in a smaller geographical area.

Cheers Rey. Yeah it's a great gang. Start a group! That's what we did on here years back, this is where it all started. I'd love to go on 'missionary' work starting 9Os all over the world!

I'm sure there's enough in Canada to start a group! Either way, whenever any of you are in London drop us a line.

Hi Frank

Shame the blue Targa never made the magazine article. Who's is that?
