Well I am hoping that the engine can be started in September and taking 2 weeks vacation to work on it and the Chassis.

Sadly nothing new to picture, but pretty much all parts are there.

Thoughts on ITBs?

I havent posted anything lately, because it actually hurts to think about the project or going on any Porsche related forums as my car is still very far from being done

All parts are together though, since a few weeks, but I cannot say when the actual build for the engine or the Chassis will start.

Very curious how it all ends up for you. Eventually we will have some fun touring or meeting on the track I hope!

Just the thought of it not running next year is what bothers me. Registration, etc. are all absolete now as it ended in October.

Not much has been happening.
The car just moved to a shop for the body work, which is supposed to finish end of October. If I'm lucky, the engine is ready by then as well.

Not really thinking any timeline is gonna be met though, as far as the build has gone.

Its been a hit and miss so far.
So my project is being restarted again. I switched my engine builder after 2 years of not completing it and parts missing or getting lost worth several grand, which is an issue by itself.
The Chassis is getting its second do-over as the first one missed some rust spots hidden away, so needs to be redone again.
Some pics attached.

pardon the late reply.

In german we say "Neues Jahr, neues Glück" New year, new luck translated.

So the engine is at Höing Motoren (Wicked Sixes) and the Chassis is now at AP Car Design. I'll post some pictures, because this week things finally got moving again.

Sire,

as promised!

Höing Motoren used to work at Andial and Porsche Motorsport, but is German. He has built several of the engines of Magnus Walker and that is how I got to know him, actually.
AP seems very good as I visited their premises and my jaw dropped, literally, so I hope the work will be done up to spec

Bare Chassis.

Parts, likely some gone missing.

Custom built cylinder heads

LN Cylinders and CP Pistons

Engine with carillo rods

Cool - it starts moving again

I am looking forward to see pictures and technical solutions you are implementing...

I hope to see you and your car somehow in Oldenburg or northern Germany

Lieben Gruß Tim (nördlich Hamburg als ex Braker)

First question is your Porsche finished before the 1 of may and if so are you going to the meeting in Dinslaken.
