Here is my final solution. I am happy with it. Will keep up with you guys to see if you come up with something better. Elihu was great to work with.

Well done Streetdaddy, looks really great.
Will be in touch for assistance with the sleeve once my **** arrives from Elihu.

Nothing to it really. Just cut off ball of leather shift boot and fold under to tightly adhere to sleeve.

The sleeve piece is stainless steel. I can grt you one when the time comes. I wrapped it with rubber wrap to really make it snug.

I also glued the adapter piece on from 928 motorsports because it was rattling by itself when placed on there. The new **** from Elihu fits with set screw. Be careful not to overtighten. You can crack the corian.

There you have it!

That looks really good!

In for more pictures, would like to see different perspectives, how much higher does it sit than stock?

Really like all you did and the group effort

Looks nice.

Gluing the adapter should not be needed, the set screws for the shift **** clamp the adapter to the stalk.

Nice install, nice looking ****.

Thanks Carl.

I'm confused. The set screw goes on the backside. The adapter goes on the sides. How does that clamp the adapter?

Before i glued mine on, it rattled with shifts. Now it's fine.

It sits same height as factory ****.

Ah. That explains it.
The location of the set-screws vary from shift-**** manufacturer to shift-**** manufacturer. The shift ***** we sell have two set screws, one on each side so they both clamp the **** and also squeeze the adapter at the same time.

If you epoxied our adapter to your stalk with like a JB Weld or similar, and then added your **** over the top, that would also work. No harm, no foul.

Mine is kind of a custom order. He can make it any size and shape you want… Elihuis awesome to work with.he already had mine made but I had him shorten the Neck portion.i'm glad I did as any longer it would've been too long in my opinion.62-65mm tall is perfect.

Out of curiosity, how much does Elihu's Corian shift **** weigh? Compared to the wood @ 60gr and the Dansk @ 40gr per Paul's post.

Didn't weigh it. Has a nice solid feel to it. Definately heavier than the Dansk, but lighter than the Aluminum one i had.
I kind of stripped it out by overtightening it, so now that i retapped it, i am leaving it alone!

My Corian from Elihu arrived yesterday and have it only 'test fit' while I wait for the sleeve.
I'll take it upstairs and put it on the kitchen scales this weekend.
