2 inch schd 80 pipe. I think a scaff pole would bend.

Just googled the strength of a scaffold pole and apparently it'll take 8 tonnes. The one I have is way stronger than the timber I used, so i guess it'll be fine.

8 ton strength is likely in the vertical. Would it support the same weight mid span?
