Default C2 to RS Spec - or is it?

So after several months of waiting, I now have the car! Hooray

The car was posted on here before by my friend and previous owner MQ_ here https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...a2-genius.html

It was the first C2 to be RS'ed by Jasmine in 2007. Over £45k has now been spent on the car by previous owners and it shows. It has had a rebuild on the Engine and Gearbox to RS spec, as have the brakes and suspension been uprated. along with a lightweight interior and welded fitted cage.

It drives exactly like an RS, it feels like a new car with all the new parts.

So here are some pics and I look forward to working on it and modifying to my taste.
Thanks to MQ_ for selling me the car!

This car inspired my 964 C2 build.

Looks great but do not like the engine lid decal.

Enjoy!

A great project! Agree with the decal, it's time is numbered!

Enjoy!
Caged car was a great build! Agree on the decal, it will be gone very soon!

To go with the red fan blades you need the new Porsche "classic red" oil filter

Thanks, after a long time I now have a car I can mod without fear of damaging the provenance.

Still have the RS N-GT and 993RS, sold the Touring due to lack of use and with some of the proceeds bought the Spyder and the C2.

Nice one Simon. I remember that car many years ago when the owner, Jay, bought it along to one of my Curborough days.

I remember a magazine article about the car. After reading that, I knew my 964 could be made into whatever I wanted. I'm sure its inspired a lot of builds since!

It's a nice freedom to have. It's going to be fun watching what you do. I hope you can't control yourself and start to go mod crazy with this one.

Make sure to join up with the L90 guys too!
