How do I rebuild the oil thermostat 964?
Hey everyone I have a 1991 C2 cab trip, rebuilding the engine finally. I read awhile ago there was an oil rebuild kit for the 964 oil thermostat. Apparently the original had too big a spring and a few other internal design features that caused the oil temp to run on the warmer side. I remember the post had good information and even part number(s) and the correction cooled the temperature by up to 20 degrees. Can anyone enlighten me where to look or part number(s) needed.
