Fall drive inspiration - Second choice is a winner (with pics)
Fall drive inspiration. Not that this group needs any inspiration to drive their 911s. Humor me anyway as I had fun putting this album together in celebration of a past trip I took with my family. It’s two years later, the kids are bigger ($$*%^&!!), and we’re thinking of heading back up. We’ll pack lighter this time and save more room to bring back apples.

Two years ago my family took a trip to Asheville, North Carolina. We started out in my wife’s car, but as we were leaving town I noticed her clutch was slipping. Not good for a family mountain trip. I’m still astonished at the words I heard next, “Can we take your car?” I immediately said yes so she couldn’t change her mind. Quickly she asked, “Does the air conditioning work?!” "Ice cubes," I relied.
We’re heading back up to Asheville soon. The kids are bigger, but I really want to take my car again. The leaves are starting to change, the weather looks cool and air-cooled engines love that.
I better sabotage (again?) my wife’s car . . .
Take inspiration from the pictures below and have a great weekend:

Enjoy your trip when you take it Jetta. Love the Fall weather and scenery in that area, you couldn't have picked a better place for it. We used to go to the Pisgah Inn and have the fish once a year when visiting Family.
