Default Rennline black coating - durability?

Hi all,

About to drop a few Rennline interior components. Track mats, floor boards, pedal sets etc.

It suits my plans to go with their black finish over the silver.

Can anyone comment on the durability of this finish on items like the pedals and floor boards?

Cheers

Pete

Have you checked with Rennline if the floor boards fit RHD? I considered them but didn't think they would fit well so made wooden ones and stained them black. To mimic the style of the cup cars.

Steve, I was hoping these would fit:

RHD Floor board

Just tried to look up Track Mat - and yes, I can't see that in RHD option.

Thanks for the heads up!

I believe I am right, but stand to be corrected

Unless they do 2 versions the one pictured wont fit early 964s

It has the foot rest on the left, so will only fit very late 964 and 993 with the later pedal box

I have the black track mats in my (LHD) 964 - overall, the finish is fairly durable - there are two small wear marks (now silver) where my heel pivots.
Otherwise, regular wear, seems to have held up quite well - even in winter...

Point noted. Thanks

Well I have a Rennline pedal set in silver. It's worn quite a lot. So either way I think it's inevitable. However in hindsight I'd wish I'd chosen black anodised.

Roger that, Frank. I spose, pedals do wear and its supposed to emulate a race car, so it just will look 'lived in'!!! Ha!
