Happy Friday - Nice fall weekend
Since Hawk left, we have stopped the tradition of telling each other what we plan on doing for the weekend. Shall we resume it?
I will be replacing the oxygen sensor on my 964 coupe. The check engine light came on two weeks ago when my fiance and I were driving up to northern NH to try to see the northern lights. Unfortunately, the clouds prevented us from seeing it. We did have a terrific drive (2 hours each way) up into the White Mountains. I'm eager to resume driving the car before the winter hibernation.
In addition to tinkering in the garage, my step daughter will be home from college for the weekend. We haven't seen her in a month or so. We are planning to go for a hike and possible do some apple picking.
What do you have planned?

First, top coming down at noon and will stay down remainder of the weekend. Second, I will be teaching my 3 week old son how to properly wash and wax a Porsche. Third, beer. Fourth, hopefully squeeze in a flight in the Piper Cub on Sunday.
Finally it isn't 1,000 deg F in Dallas.

Breaking out the Scantool to reset the airbag light.. It seems to come on if I don't run the car for some time, even with the battery maintainer plugged in.

On targa New seals between fender and cowl that was never installed after paint. A little tinkering. Just had a new windshield installed about 30 min again due to rock chip. That is 2 in under 500 miles.
On the coupe, getting off my *** and finishing valve adjustment and new shocks and springs.
What happened to Hawk?

Lots of bike riding and while I'm resting my legs, lots of driving my son to soccer games. My wife said it would really help her out if I took him to the games on both days. I said of course I'll drive him... knowing that the drives to both fields are all on back roads, and there's excellent parking at the lots.
I love it when I can help.

I plan to wash my C2 after doing a valve adjustment last week (heard a ticking noise in the engine and cylinder 6 was out of adjustment). I also think maybe I never seated one of my spark plugs wires properly because now my C2 runs so incredibly well. The car has felt so smooth and responsive all week.
Car is super dirty now so I will do my waterless wash with the Griot's Garage products this weekend.
