Rubbing the front tire!

I have a big problem with my 964, I do not know how to tackle it. When I turn slightly right, then I rub the front tire in the outer leading edge. I do not think the steering stop on 10mm solves this (has 6 mm today). I run with the correct dimensioning of the tires 205 50 17. The car is lowered with H & R springs, but I have raised it up as far as it goes. Do I go for 205 45 17 instead? Or what the heck should I do?

There's a TSB for this, involves trimming away material where the wing and bumper meet.

What offset and width 17" front wheels are you running? 205s aren't big tires.

Also, what is your caster setting in the front?

Iīm trying to attach some pictures....must figure out how to delete some old ones since my limit is up !
I have seen some technical page on the trimming....but canīt find it. Anyone?

Hey,
Fixed my rubbing issue with 3mm spacers up front. I have the same tire on 17 inch RUF speedlines.

Cheers

Is the caster set correctly?

I had the same issue when I installed my new suspension. You can move the wheel back in the well to clear the bumper, by adjusting the caster. Just have to watch that the caster is right.
