Default Elgin Cams?

Anyone running cams from Elgin? I spoke with him the other day and am considering his stage 1 set up, I believe it called it, a slight mod for more mid range.

It's my understanding that Steve Weiner from Rennsport uses Elgin cams. I would give him a call and confirm what's the best cam grind for your application.

I have Elgin's Super C2 cams in my 964, along with 993 RS valves. Still very streetable but definite improvement over stock. I had Steve Wong do a custom remap for me. I don't have actual dyno figures but am pretty sure I'm over 280 horsepower, maybe more. Also did Fabspeed Sportcat at same time.

Make sure you check valve to piston clearances before you close up engine!
