Trying to go all Pioneer because I'm OCD about stuff like that. The rear are the Pioneer 4x6 three way equivalent.

Not going to run an amp for now. Not after massive sound, just clean.

A stupid question and maybe I've overlooked it, but what type of screws did you use to mount the MDF spacer rings to the door metal? Self-tapping of some sort?

And for mounting the speakers to the MDF spacer ring, I imagine you used the self-tapping screws that came with the speakers?

This thread has been massively helpful for my own planning! Just trying to understand a few more points in my head.
