Trying to go all Pioneer because I'm OCD about stuff like that. The rear are the Pioneer 4x6 three way equivalent.
Not going to run an amp for now. Not after massive sound, just clean.

Got one speaker in the door today and prepared the new tweeters to fit inside the existing tweeter holders. They are the perfect size for the factory tweeter holder. I just glued them in with thin rim of epoxy. I will do a bit of dynamat on the doors. The door is not one flat panel and I don't want to rip off the plastic shield. I am applying here and there which should be effective.
And for mounting the speakers to the MDF spacer ring, I imagine you used the self-tapping screws that came with the speakers?
This thread has been massively helpful for my own planning! Just trying to understand a few more points in my head.
