its not difficult but it does take some work and time. front is easier, in the back you have to maneuver a bit more to get the new ones in. 10mm longer than stock is the longest I would try without removing the hub, those you can still wiggle in. Taking the old ones of requires either a hammer or a tool that can press the bolt out, such as a separator, or even a simple G clamp works like shown here

This thread outlines the steps quite well too: https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...ange-them.html

Tomorrow I will try to work on the front fenders a bit, hopefully by the weekend the front spacers will be in too

A photo from a local get together today.. As you can see the front desperately needs spacers and a little more camber...

Spent a couple of hours today adjusting the fronr cambers and making room in the fenders for some spacers. Still need to do the other side tomorrow and then the wheels will be all set for now.

Snapped a few pictures too if someone is interested in seeing the suspension set up:

So finally cambers are adjusted and the spacers are on.. I will actually put 0.5" wider lips in the front at some point as there is plenty of room and the fronts look a bit narrow compared to the rear.

Also put on a dp-motorsport front spoiler but I'm not 100% happy with the fitment and shape, I have a bigger lip too from Rennspd which I will try on when I get a chance.

Also planning on trying on a Strosek rear bumper I found on ebay.de for pretty cheap, I have no idea how it will fit the turbo arches as its part of Strosek's own wide body, will be interesting to see.

A couple of photos from this weekend:

I like that DP lip. Is it plastic or fiberglass? I wonder if it's available for narrow body.

Vandit its fibreglass. I do believe its made for both turbo and narrow body. The turbo one at least didn't fit too well and took some work.

This might be for the stupid question thread but is this car on a hydraulic suspension that you can raise. It couldn't possible roll down a road this low? Sorry, I don't know much about the "stance" scene on these cars. I am super SUV stock ride height on my C2!

EDIT: oops just read the first post, air ride setup, love to ride this thing. Can you adjust for smooth ride on the road and then firmer for a track event?

The height you see in that photo above is at the lowest setup, it rolls fine but the turning radius is of course limited as the front wheels will rub. The driving height is probably 1" higher which you can see here:

The total adjustability is maybe 3" or more so you can get it to suv mode when needed

As for the ride feel, its not much different from coilovers, the shocks are adjustable too.

So where did you source the turbo fender flares? So you welded them on there?

I got them through fvd in germany but they are porsche parts so any oem parts retailer should be able to get them. They are not welded, just bolted, I did use an adhesive as well to seal them and make sure they don't rattle.

In other news, I didn't find a front spoiler I like so I started making one that I hope to complete in 1.5 weeks. I will also test fit some meatier tires next week.

i admire what you've done, but can't decide if I like it or not.

Looking forward to your updates though.

Great, do you still have the part #'s still available for the fender flares?
Thanks great build!
