I remember talking to him a while back about the car. It had just sold. Sorry for the trouble.
I am the owner of Anthracite Leasing.
We are the legal owner of the vehicle and it is titled to us, not anyone else. Mr. Baptista represented to the buyer that he owned the car free and clear. That is not correct. He sold the car without are knowledge or permission, collected the money, and did not give that money to us. Now two months later, we were contacted by the buyer and this whole situation is unravelling.
We have been leasing cars for over 25 years. Not the first time that something like this has happened and won't be the first time someone ended up in jail doing something like this. Feel free to contact me. We will no longer be doing any business with Baptista. I doubt anyone else will want to either.

Law Enforcement is now involved. It will get straightened out. And now Baptista took someone else for $10,000. The next time you see Eddie in a jumpsuit, it won't be fire retardent.

SO Q&A had the car. Kept it hidden for months and the only reason we received any money from him is that we were smart enough to have the car reported stolen. So he could do nothing with it.
Battista screwed him and then he tried to screw Anthracite Leasing.
