Not an answer to your search for a manual steering rack, but have you thought of going to an electric power steering pump. Several people on here have gone to that solution and love it.

I have both OEM RSA rack and OEM regular C2 rack but without the power steering, just a little slower bur not a huge difference but I'll put the RSA rack back in.

They are hard to find. But if there is one guy that can have parts that doesn't exist it is this one, Freisinger. I managed to get a new rack from him many years ago. Could be worth a try. They are used to ship world wide.

Thanks Thomas that is an idea, a buddy who gets a good discount from SFS
Porsche parts supplier says it's listed as available , but at approx. 2K ...

I think the manual rack is like many other 964 parts these days, Porsche makes a batch when there's enough demand. So the parts are listed but it can take a year plus to get them.
This March my OPC called me and told me that my RS seat belt brackets (tunnel side) finally had arrived, 1 1/2 years after I ordered them! But they were at least fresh, manufactured in February.
